Evidence Verifier
100% local, zero upload. This free tool checks a realearn evidence bundle
(JSON) right here in your browser tab. Paste the JSON or drop the file below: it is read with the
standard browser APIs and validated by a small vanilla-JavaScript checker — it is never sent
anywhere: no network request carries your data, and no account, upload or server is involved.
It verifies that the bundle is parseable, that the required schema fields are present
(lab_id, date, subject_sha256, command,
output_exit_code, environment, verified_date), that every
recorded sha256 is well-formed (64 hex characters), and it prints a per-lab summary.
For lawful use only — see our Acceptable Use Policy
and the public evidence dataset this format comes from.
.json file onto it), press Verify, and the
results render below. You can also load a real lab00 bundle from the dataset as an
example. Close the tab and everything is gone — nothing is stored.waiting for JSON — it never leaves this tab

Why verify evidence bundles locally?
Every claim on this site is backed by a machine-checkable record in the realearn-evidence dataset: commands, environment, exit codes, and content-addressed sha256 digests of the analyzed subjects (see the dataset page). A bundle is only trustworthy if its shape is right — this page lets anyone re-check that shape without pasting data into an unknown web service. It pairs with the ELF Inspector: the dataset points at binaries, the inspector shows their structure, and this verifier checks the records about them.
What is checked
- JSON parseability — the text must parse as valid JSON.
- Required fields — the seven schema fields must be present (recorded-as-null values like unmeasured exit codes are reported, not rejected: the dataset never invents data).
- sha256 format — every non-null
subject_sha256must be 64 hexadecimal characters. - Lab summary — lab id, entry count, distinct subjects and verification date, listed per bundle.
